Biography

Dr. Anne Wildermuth, PhD, PA-C, CAQ EM, RD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Health Professions Education (HPE) at Uniformed Services University. She is a practicing emergency medicine physician assistant, a registered dietitian, and a leadership coach. Her research is focused on leadership, equity, and admissions, and she has extensive experience in faculty development nationally and across multiple health professions. Dr. Wildermuth has worked alongside the military for many years, previously appointed as the Interservice PA Program (IPAP) DoD Project Lead and the Canadian Armed Forces PA Program Civilian Liaison.She advises medical and graduate learners in HPE degree and certificate programs and teaches HPE courses in leadership, assessment, and clinical teaching. Research interests include admissions, equity, leadership, hiring, and various emergency medicine and nutrition topics. She is actively involved in the American Academy of Physician Assistants and Physician Assistant Education Association and serves as a reviewer for several medical education journals and conferences.
